From Your Valentine

01.30.08

Have you every wondered just where this phrase came from?  According to Answers.com, the legend began when a third-century priest named Valentine continued performing marriage ceremonies even though the Roman emperor Claudius II had banned marriage because he was certain that single men were better soldiers.  Eventually, Valentine was thrown in jail and he formed a relationship with his jailor’s daughter.  Prior to his execution on, you guessed it, February 14th, he signed his last message to his beloved “From your Valentine,” a phrase that is still used on Valentine gifts and cards today.

What Is Designer Inspired Jewelry?

01.17.08

Designer Inspired Jewelry, AKA Knockoff Jewelry, Replica Jewelry and Imitation Jewelry is a great alternative to the real thing for many reasons.  Primarily, it is through designer inspired jewelry that many people, who cannot afford the original designer´s work,  are able to enjoy the same style and look of the designer’s originals.  There have always been and always will be trends and movements that inspire the look of jewelry because it is human nature to search for a new and different style.  This can get pretty expensive and unaffordable for the average consumer.  Designer Inspired Jewelry provides the opportunity to look like a million without spending a fortune.

A Christmas Of Love

01.10.08

The Christmas decorations have finally been put away.  My husband said it was like the never-ending Christmas because it is, after all, the 9th of January.  We had the whole clan this year - eight adults, an eleven year old, a fifteen month old, five dogs (four of them were very big) and one great-grandma.  Believe it or not, we had a blast.  We played cards and games and watched movies.  The stove and dishwasher ran non-stop and the dinning room table was constantly getting a new tablecloth.  The house, although bursting at the seams, never looked more beautiful.  It was a wonderful Christmas filled with noise and commotion but also with so much love.

Just a little deviation from the normal post.  This is me when I’m not selling jewelry.

Recently, a customer e-mailed the following:

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I bought a real pair of David Yerman earrings to match my necklace that my children bought for me.I paid almost $400 for them. I hate wearing real earrings because I tend to loose one of them when I am trying on clothes.  I didn’t expect much when I ordered them for $15. Boy was I surprised when they arrived. They are gorgeous and I wanted an extra pair just in case I loose one. I went to Bloomingdales the very next day and returned them.
Your stuff is great and I will pass on the website to all of my friends.
Thanks,
Susan Goldman

Thanks for the great review, Susan.
